While our brand name is under wraps, our mission and values are clear, and we are backed by an industry leader known for safety, quality, and integrity.RESPONSIBILITIES and ACCOUNTABILITIES:As the crew leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of arborists and ensuring that all tree care projects are completed safely and efficiently.Leading by example in all aspects of tree care and effectively managing a crew of 3-4 workers, with the future ability to effectively manage multiple crews and possibly an entire Arbor company.Operating a variety of equipment and tools necessary for tree care, including chainsaws and chippers.Ensuring the safety of crew members and the public during all projects.Communicating effectively with managers and managing budgeted hours for each project.Maintaining equipment and ensuring proper maintenance and safety checks are performed.QUALIFICATIONS:At least 5 years of experience in the tree care industry.Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.Knowledge of tree biology, pruning techniques, safety standards, and tree removal procedures.Ability to operate and maintain a variety of equipment and tools related to the tree care industry.Strong communication and leadership skills with a focus on safety.Valid TX driver's license and pass a background check.CPR Certification.ISA certifications are a plus.CORE VALUES: Safety Quality IntegrityWHY JOIN US?If you're looking for an opportunity to be the first leader of our new company with the backing and resources of a larger, well-established organization, this is the place for you.
