Title: Linux KVM system programmer/adminLocation: Austin, TX or Fremont, CADuration: 12+ MonthsAs a (senior) SRE you will be responsible for the upkeep , improvement of quality of service and end user impact of multiple critical services. You will manage datacenter systems at scale, configuring and deploying software and hardware as well as developing tooling and automation to improve operability. An engineer with technical depth and an automation mindset will excel in this role. Responsibilities - Creation of tools and processes for deploying and managing hardware for Tesla's Private Cloud Infrastructure- Creation of tools and processes for automated configuration change management across various services with "5 nines uptime "- Creation of monitoring and alerting tools and dashboards for various services- Respond and troubleshoot priority issues - Create and publish documentation for End user, support team and other developers- Participate in on-call rotation for high priority incidents.- Planning and analysis of service deployment, changes and incidents- Proof-of-Concept deployments Desired Qualifications- Proficient in Linux fundamentals- Experience working as a Systems engineer - Experience working directly with Software Engineering teams as a developer, DevOps engineer, or SRE- Experience with modern infrastructure services, distributed systems, microservices, and software design at a high-level.- Experience working with containers and container management systems- Understanding of cyber security principles and best practices- Experience in managing configuration changes across a large set of distributed production systems - Good with Golang and Python Preferred QualificationsExpertise in one or multiple - KVM, LXD, DNS, Postfix, Secure access proxy implementation, Zero Trust implementation, Github Actions, MinIO, Cyber security Thank you, Naveen Reddy2590 N.
