Collections Specialist

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Austin, Texas. The individual will be part of our team, primarily focusing on managing customer accounts, ensuring accurate credit records, and handling credit-related inquiries. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organization by making sure all due payments are collected in a timely manner.Responsibilities: Oversee all collection activities, ensuring they are performed accurately and efficiently. Prepare customer statements regularly, detailing their credit status. Work proactively in collecting outstanding account receivables and reducing the number of past-due accounts. Identify and resolve any billing or credit issues that customers may encounter. Use your B2B collections experience to handle accounts from other businesses effectively. Utilize your skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Aging Reports, Collecting Payments, Account Discrepancies, and managing Delinquencies to maintain accurate customer credit records and ensure timely collection of payments. Monitor customer credit accounts regularly, taking appropriate action when necessary to collect delinquent payments.
