Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry located in Austin, Texas. The role involves meticulous management of customer credit applications and records, as well as monitoring credit accounts and handling delinquent payments. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintain up-to-date customer credit records Address and resolve any customer credit inquiries Monitor customer credit accounts regularly for any discrepancies Take necessary action to collect delinquent payments Manage high-volume data entry tasks with precision Perform 3-way matching for invoice reconciliation Run weekly checks to ensure financial accuracy Utilize Microsoft Excel for recording and analyzing data Enter invoices promptly and accurately. Requirements Proficiency in high-volume data entry Ability to accurately enter invoices Experience with 3-way matching procedures Capability to perform account reconciliation Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with check runs Understanding of the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry Ability to adhere to company standards and regulations Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Problem-solving and decision-making skills Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Demonstrated professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
