Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager based in Austin, Texas. The role will provide financial and operational support, focusing primarily on managing payments and controlling expenses. The role involves handling a variety of tasks, including processing payments, verifying and reconciling invoices, and ensuring efficient expense management. Responsibilities Review, adjust and ensure appropriate coding for invoices from outside vendors and expense reports Set up new vendors and maintain existing ones in the Accounts Payable system Manage the timely processing of expense reports including approving employee expense reports and reconciling monthly credit cards Implement controls by ensuring invoices are approved and paid by different individuals Facilitate the timely approval for the processing of invoices Prepare month-end accrual entries in accordance with US GAAP and maintain workpapers Contribute significantly to the budget process in relation to expense management and allocation to various departments Provide information on operating expenses as required Regularly review current processes, document any issues, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed Process credit card reconciliations, review for duplicates, and coordinate with credit card holders for supporting documentationSkills Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in Wire Transfer Proficiency in Coding Invoices Ability to handle High-Volume Invoicing Skill in Reviewing Invoices Proficiency in Concur Experience with Expense Accruals Knowledge of Accrual Accounting Ability to handle Monthly Accruals Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and operations Experience with Wire Transfer transactions Knowledge and experience in Coding Invoices Ability to manage High-Volume Invoicing Proficiency in reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy Experience with Concur expense management software Familiarity with Expense Accruals and related accounting procedures Expertise in Accrual Accounting principles Experience with preparing and reviewing Monthly Accruals Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.
