Horton, Inc.is currently looking for aESG Reporting Manager. The right candidate is responsible for assisting the Senior Investor Relations & ESG Manager and the SVP of Communications & People with the execution of the company’s ESG programs and communications.Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.ESG/Sustainability:

Collaborate with the Investor Relations/ESG team, Purchasing, Legal, Human Resources (HR) and others within the company to successfully execute and enhance the company’s ESG program and disclosures

Read and understand the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation/Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) IFRS Foundation/Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and other relevant ESG and sustainability reporting standards applicable to D.R. Horton and the homebuilding industry

Assist with reviewing/updating/correcting/verifying data gathered by and responding to questionnaires and reports generated by ESG data/ratings providers, including, but not limited to: Sustainalytics, MSCI, ISS, S&P Global and Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)

Aid in the compilation, review and comparison of internal data as needed to respond to ESG ratings providers and investor inquiries, as well as to generate consistent, comparable data to utilize in an annual ESG/sustainability report, including, but not limited to, data from: JDE – housing/environmental stats, Job Scheduling Administration (JSA) – housing/environmental stats, HR – human capital, diversity stats, Health/Safety metrics and third-party data provided by vendors, consultants and others

Assist with compilation of ESG/sustainability reports and supplemental reporting

Participate in the preparation and updates of documents/policies that are to be included in ESG section of the Company’s Investor Relations website

Participate in ESG-related webcasts and education to expand knowledge base and learn about ESG trends and service providers

Periodically review peer ESG-related reports and disclosures and perform peer analysis

Work directly with the Forestar (NYSE: FOR) Investor Relations team on Forestar’s ESG initiatives and reportingInvestor Relations:

Understand Regulation Fair Disclosure

Research other public homebuilders and monitor SEC filings to alert the Investor Relations team of any significant announcements, results or changes

Aid in the preparation of ESG-related disclosures in annual proxy statement or annual report on Form 10-K filed with the SEC, as needed

Collaborate, and engage with and manage correspondence, projects and relationships with third- party firms on ESG initiatives as necessary, including WAP Sustainability and Workiva

Prepare presentations and create and maintain spreadsheets/reports as needed

Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Ability to travel overnight

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Accounting or a related field

Two to three years of related experience

Exercise discretion when working with confidential information concerning the company, executive management and employees

Ability to be an efficient and resourceful team player and individual contributor

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

Proficiency with MS Office and email
