Mechanical & Electrical Field Engineering Manager

Turner and Townsend are looking for a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Field Engineering Manager to be in the field based in Taiwan. The position requires bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems on-site. This role requires strong technical skills, project management experience, and leadership abilities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Job description:On-site leadership: Oversee the work of engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.Technical expertise: Provide technical guidance and support for all mechanical and electrical aspects of the project.Project management: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scope.Quality assurance: Ensure all work meets project specifications and industry standards.Problem-solving: Identify and resolve technical issues, including failure analysis and troubleshooting.Stakeholder management: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.Safety management: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.Continuous improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
