Job SummaryProduce, inspect, and package quality plastic parts within established production standards while following safety guidelines; perform secondary operations to injection-molded plastic parts.Qualifications
One to three years’ operator experience desired
Competency in reading and writing skills an asset
Key Responsibilities of Production Associates
Bolt, clip, screw, cement, or otherwise fasten parts together by hand or with power machinery
Trim or ream flash from parts using hand tools as needed
Re-package parts in accordance with packaging specifications to prevent damage when shipping
Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are met
Give breaks to other operators when required
Follow all safety rules; report safety problems and all injuries, regardless of severity
Must have basic knowledge of QMS, EMS know the Quality Policy
Ensure 5S standard cleanliness of equipment, cell, and plant
