This position reports directly to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and is responsible for leading assigned areas of video and film operation efforts for the university’s women’s basketball program. Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee all video operations in the Women’s Basketball program
Coordinate film exchange with opponents
Prepare video content for cut-ups, breakdown and distribution to the Women’s Basketball staff
Oversee any designated student managers assisting with filming and video support
Maintain video servers and related equipment
Create video content upon request for recruiting and promotional purposes
Assist with production of team intro videos, social media clips, and SEC Network content, as needed
Assist supporting areas (i.e. communications, marketing) with video footage needed for various purposes
Provide assistance for Women’s Basketball special events as needed
Various travel responsibilities for road games as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is necessary.
Knowledge of basketball editing software is necessary.
Strong video editing experience is necessary.
Excellent computer skills are necessary.
Great communication skills are necessary.
