DescriptionO’Neal Steel has an opening for a Regional General Manager to cover the Mid-Atlantic territory.The Regional General Manager is responsible for leading all commercial efforts regarding the overall profitability and management of locations within assigned territory. Current locations include Nashville, TN; Knoxville, TN; Greensboro, NC; and Jacksonville, FL.In this role you will:

Lead and direct inside and outside sales personnel

Develop sales plans, budgets, and forecasts for locations managed

Provide market feedback and reporting

Collaborate with sales support activities to ensure these resources support and align with your sales plans and goals

Operations management

Inventory management

Supply Chain

Sales process and support

Business development

Product development

Processing

Develop and maintain productive business relationships with customers, peers, stakeholders and other internal O'Neal Steel departmental partners

Be responsible for the personnel management of region including the following

Headcount

Structure

Be responsible for Expense management

Live within current footprint or ability to travel regularly to assigned territory

Travel 50% or more

What you will bring:

Bachelors or Associates degree in marketing, business or a related field. Non-degreed candidates with sales management experience may be considered.

Demonstrated leadership skills including achieving results through people, performance management and development, maintaining a culture that aligns with O’Neal Steel values, etc.

A good understanding of commercial activities associated with metals sales as well as metal processing, operational challenges and financial cause and effect.
