DescriptionAmazon’s Transportation Services team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated person to help develop a world class logistics process that delivers goods on time at the best cost. Our team objective is to manage to excellence freight flowing through our North American transportation networks, specifically focused on transportation carrier programs and performance.We are looking for a dynamic experienced manager, detail-oriented, organized self-starter to join as a Transportation Manager for the Middle Mile team to lead a team of Partner Performance Managers who manage carrier relationships and ensure they are set up to succeed. This person will develop the team defining the strategy to handle the relationship with Amazon’s carriers.Key job responsibilities

Provide best in class support for carriers with scalable tracking process

Partner with cross functional stakeholders to drive a culture of professional service

Identify, develop and improve strategies for the carrier onboarding and training process

Identify and drive process improvements that enhance the carrier service and technology

Provide reports to leaders of health and training proficiency weekly/monthly (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems)

Operational knowledge of wide variety of and contractual concepts is essential to perform the role successfully

Bachelor's degree

Experience delivering cross functional projects

Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Experience in supply chain

Experience managing teams

Preferred Qualifications

MBA

Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
