You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Financial Crimes Strategy Manager develops and enhances strategy for fraud prevention, investigation processes and customer authentication processes for various types of fraud.Primary Responsibilities

Develops and enhances fraud prevention strategy, investigation processes and customer authentication processes for various types of fraud

Interfaces with lines of business and channel owners to identify opportunities for continuous improvement for Regions

Creates process flows, road maps, risk thresholds, procedures and operational readiness items for the Bank's fraud agents

Establishes operational procedures to manage risk and apply decision strategies

Identifies opportunities to improve operations through data analytics in partnership with the Fraud Analytics team

Partners with Technology for identification of new capabilities, improvements to existing capabilities and integration across channels

Develops key performance indicators (KPI's), creates, and disseminates reports for appropriate stakeholders

Researches, develops and presents findings for fraud operational enhancements to senior management

Makes recommendations and provides updates to the analytics team and the executive business audiences

Manages a team of analysts

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.Requirements

Bachelor's degree

Seven (7) years of experience in fraud, risk management, analytics, modeling or relevant area

Preferences

Master's degree

Extremely detail oriented with intellectual curiosity

Proficient in Statistical Analysis System (SAS)/ structured query language (SQL), Microsoft Office (MS Office), programming languages (e.g. Python, R), analytical tools (Enterprise Miner, Knowledge Studio, H2O, Tableau) and big data tools (e.g. Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS)/ Yet Another Resource Negotiator (YARN), Kafka, Highly Immersive Visualization Environment (Hive), Spark)

Quantitative and analytical skills

This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with a preference for Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.Job Range Target:Minimum:$117,079.20 USDMedian:$163,700.00 USDIncentive Pay Plans:This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan.
