This team is responsible for driving improvements in our processes and internal controls related to capex and procurement. We are seeking individuals with excellent finance and/or accounting skills, sound business judgment, who can influence and communicate across the organization.This role provides an excellent opportunity to Think Big, understand the overall NACF network and drive process improvements. It is also a highly visible position as it involves working closely with senior leadership.Key job responsibilitiesThis role will be a key team member on the controllership team. They will leverage their systems and process knowledge to drive improvements throughout the capex/asset management lifecycle and the corresponding applications. They will understand the basic processes and controls related to capex activity and importance of data quality when implementing tech solutions and automating processes.Controllership

You work cross-functionally to implement controls and embed solutions across teams

You identify, resolve or provide guidance on the resolution of complex data integrity issues and controllership risks, insisting on the highest standards

You recommend practices and processes to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with internal and external policies (e.g., financial and tax-related regulations).

Business Finance Support

You think big to influence strategic decision-making and planning for complex business areas by using data to provide advice and sometimes disruptive ideas

You use finance and business acumen to set direction that meets business needs

About the teamThis role collaborates closely with a broad range of global finance and business leaders in Procurement, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Accounting, Finance and various tech teams in effort to improve processes and controls related to Fixed Assets.This role requires in office presence three days per week.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Bellevue, WA, USA | Dallas, TX, USA | Nashville, TN, USA | New York City, NY, USABasic Qualifications

5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience

MBA, or CPA

Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
