We create new logistical benchmarks and “firsts” through disruptive innovation and we are experiencing hyper-growth.We are searching for an exceptionally talented, bright, and driven Finance Manager to own topline and profitability strategies for our cross-border transportation business. This is a hugely exciting role for a strategic finance professional to own a vital part of the success of our business.The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with interactions across a wide variety of e-commerce and logistics topics and stakeholders, including Demand, Product, Operations, and Sales. As a Finance Manager, you will build the strategies for revenue and cost optimization and own narrative development across planning and reporting forums. You will collaborate with our Product, Data Science, Sales, and Business Intelligence teams and own key financial decisions related to the P&L.The scope for this role focuses on continuously improving the existing process and mechanisms, identifying competitors and market segment opportunities, building analytical and financial models to recommend opportunities and strategies that optimize for long term free cash flow, and build business cases for product development.You will own and drive analytics related products and features, model innovation, and alignment globally, including designing and implementing success metrics and measurement systems that guide capacity management decisions.You will have an opportunity to publish findings, updates, and data driven recommendations to Senior Leadership.Key job responsibilities

Own end-to-end financials for on-going price-setting, analysis and decision-making process.

Own regular monitoring and reporting of Pricing performance at regional and product level.

Transform customer insights into pricing decisions (e. g. price differentiation, price tiering, price segmentation) that increases and diversifies the pricing options offered by Global Mile, partnering with Product, Tech, Marketing, Ops, and Sales teams across EU, China and the US to drive Pricing initiatives impact.

Partner with Transport Product teams to take decisions on investment of cost saving for price competitiveness.

Partner with Procurement and Legal to ensure prices are in line with all regional and local tax and legal guidelines.

Develop, research, and analyze pricing strategies; test and evaluate current and proposed pricing strategies and develop studies on performance vs forecast

Identify drivers of business problems as they related to pricing decisions, attaining target margins, and cost savings from operational efficiencies.

Identify trends at their root, while also stepping back to understand the broader context.

Define the business problem and solution approach autonomously, to size and prioritize pricing-led business growth opportunities for maximizing return on investments.

BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science)

5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects

Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis

Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)

The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
