Description Our client is a reputable company currently seeking a highly motivated and proficient Desktop Support Analyst in Memphis, TN. This contract position requires an individual who can provide exceptional support to users on Windows 10 or 11, handle hardware issues, assist in break-fix tasks and have prior experience in using ticketing systems.Responsibilities:
Provide primary desktop support for Windows 10 or 11 users, diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware challenges.
Maintain and support hardware including but not limited to desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
Document, track and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution using ticketing systems.
Assist in fixing hardware or software issues to ensure that all systems are functional.
Provide technical training to end-users, and enhancing their understanding of the systems.
Visit different workstations to conduct regular checks and maintenance tasks.
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Desktop Support analyst or similar IT role.
Solid knowledge and understanding of Windows 10 or 11.
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
Experience in using ticketing systems and the ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong ability to diagnose and resolve hardware or software challenges.
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
Good understanding of computer network cabling, network classification and network topology.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Able to provide high quality customer service.
