Description The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to uncover insights and inform business decisions. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills in data manipulation and visualization.Responsibilities:

Collect data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and spreadsheets

Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency

Handle missing data, outliers, and inconsistencies

Perform statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques to extract meaningful insights

Develop predictive models and forecasting techniques to anticipate future trends

Use data visualization tools to create clear and compelling data visualizations

Create regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate findings to stakeholders

Customize reports to meet specific business needs

Utilize data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

Stay up-to-date with the latest data technologies and trends

Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other team members to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field

Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R

Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

Understanding of statistical concepts and data mining techniques

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Data Science or a related field

Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques

Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes
