Pemberton Truck Lines, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative / Collections Specialist based in our Knoxville, TN Terminal.
This position will provide complete Customer Account Management pertaining to any and all customer issues including communication of Customer Account issues and proactive communication of customer capacity and Accounts Receivable Specialist duties.
Below are some but not all job responsibilities:
Post Customer Payments of ACH or Check Deposits.
Verifies and reconciles account discrepancies.
Answer email and phone inquiries.
Obtains and sends invoices or customer statement copies to customers as requested.
Effectively communicate with all departments.
Review statements for outstanding invoices.
Daily filing of driver documents.
Data Entry and back-up for billing.
Schedule Appointments for entered orders via phone, email or customer websites.
Follow up on loading and delivering of orders / Track & Trace.
Monitor detention times.
Monitor Customer Trailer Pools. Accept, Reject and Update EDI data.
Index and Image orders and related customer service materials.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Required. Associates Degree Preferred.
One plus years in related fields.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Knowledge of geographical areas across the United States.
Ability to apply common sense to carry out written instructions.
Ability to problem solve.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and dispatch software.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
Basic understanding of Accounting principles.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
