The purpose of this job is to lead, train, and motivate the payroll team, ensure correct wage and hour compliance, maintain and update payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies including those for international payroll.Responsible for supporting and processing weekly payroll for 30k team membersResponsible for supporting payroll taxes and financialsReview and approve terminations and process final payments in accordance with state and provincial lawsPartner with Benefits, Legal, HR, and Compensation to process all legal settlements, deferred compensation, commissions, and bonusesManage processes through metric evaluation and audits for payroll transactionsEnter labor reclasses, voids, and pull backsProcess void, manual, and adjustment payroll cycles weeklyAddress issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiorsPrepare reports for upper managementCollaborate with other departments to create/revamp processes in order to improve efficienciesSupports cross-functional activities and work sessionsEnsure all activities are in compliance with US and Canada lawsResponsible for process documentation of all standard operating procedures for payrollModel behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest levelComplete other duties as assigned
