Adheres to quality and quantity standards and follows guidelines to meet product specifications. Evaluate employee performance through various means, such as talent reviews and common annual reviews, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures, with guidance. Own, execute and drive improvement of LSW (Leader Standard Work) and audit requirements including, but not limited to, Quality and 6S.

Ensure that all processes and procedures are followed according to the Work Instructions, Packaging Standards and other quality directives within the department. Drive change where the standards do not meet proper practices

Responsible for all MDI KPI's and meetings. Confirm meetings start exactly on time, that all teammates attend and that the team is working to reach the pre-defined daily, weekly and monthly targets

Using data and other inputs, identify, prioritize, and deliver on business and customer needs, including managing WIP

Execute a 6S approach in manufacturing practices

May be responsible for additional oversight of business unit, which may include multiple teams. Will contribute to strategic plans and manufacturing programs including Lighthouse and other lean approaches

Manage and mentor team leads in Final Processing to include personal development plans and team building

Identify, prioritize and lead cost reduction initiatives to deliver on financial projections.

Ensures compliance with established regulatory, quality, legal, corporate, and human resources policies and procedures

What you need-

Bachelor's degree or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree-required

6 years of manufacturing, leadership, operations, logistics, or relevant experience in addition to Bachelor's degree or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree -required

Problem solving methods such as A3, 5 whys, Fishbone Diagram, 8 step problem solving, PDCA or 6S experience -highly preferred

Physical & Mental Requirements

May involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing, as appropriate

May be required to reach, push, or pull to accomplish job accountabilities.

Requires use of safety glasses in designated areas

Closed-toe/closed-heel shoes must be worn on the production floor; safety shoes are recommended

Coordination of eye, hand, and/or foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention ability.
