Job Summary

The Senior Quality & Risk Adjustment Analyst is responsible for designing and maintaining reporting assets and user interfaces to business and clinical operational dashboards, reporting engines and decision support systems in order to meet risk adjustment, (RA) HEDIS (Health Effectiveness Data and Information Sets), medical and pharmacy utilization trends, and other Avera Insurance Division clinical quality goals.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a computing, design, business or a healthcare administrative or clinical discipline or three to five years of relevant experience required.

Master’s degree preferred.

Healthcare experience with at least a basic understanding of healthcare regulations and workflow required.

Advanced knowledge of at least one data visualization tool, such as QlikView, SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau.

SQL and/or Meditech NPR report writing experience preferred.

Business experience working with teams, sponsors, executives, and stakeholders preferred.

Certification/Licensure/Registrations

Certification from AHIMA as a Certified Healthcare Data Analyst (CHDA) or Certified Professional in Health Informatics (CPHI) is preferred.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$31.75 - $48.00 per hour
