Description Robert Half has partnered with an esteemed firm to bring an experienced Bookkeeper onto their rapidly-growing team. Based in the North Charleston, South Carolina region, this Bookkeeper role would be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position.Your responsibilities in this role
Uphold quality historical records by filing documents
Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits
Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Conduct and manage the general ledger
Monitor accounts by balancing entries Requirements - Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Strong familiarity with general ledger
Bookkeeping experience preferred
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
