Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Service industry. Based in North Charleston, South Carolina, you will be instrumental in managing our accounts receivable functions, processing payments, and resolving invoice disputes. Your skills in accounting software systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites and understanding of accounting functions will be utilized in this role.Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer payments and post checks to the appropriate accounts Resolve any invoice discrepancies and disputes on billing statements Handle cash applications and check processing tasks Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions and activities Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Office suites for daily tasks Ensure adherence to accounting functions and company policies Collaborate with the senior accountant to ensure all financial data is accurate Utilize your knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions to optimize operations Leverage your skills in NetSuite for efficient management of financial tasks Handle cash activity and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
