Junior Physical Operator - Cape Town

We are seeking candidates with commercial acumen and a keen interest to build a career in a dynamic energy trading house to join one of our overseas teams. The role will involve:working with one of our commercial or analytical team, e.g. Operations, Research, Finance, Claims under the guidance of a Manager, shadowing and gaining understanding of Vitol’s physical and commercial businessLiaising with suppliers and cargo receivers to make nominationsReviewing and amending purchase and sales contractsLiaising with shipping agents and cargo inspectors to ensure the optimal loading/discharging of cargoLoss controlCommunicating voyage orders and stowage plans to ship owners and brokersActing as an adviser to matrix brokers
