Job DescriptionA fortune 10 Retail Pharmaceutical company is looking for a Delivery Manager to join their PMO team. In this role, you will be working across multiple engineering teams to drive the delivery of our digital products focused on helping people live healthier lives. As a Senior Manager, you will use your management skills to lead large Digital initiatives specifically supporting numerous retail teams. You should have the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering program management skills. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated, collaborative individual; motivated to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. The successful Delivery Manager will have the ability to deliver high quality work across time sensitive topics and be able to meet deadlines with multiple competing priorities. You should be able to engage, manage, and drive senior leaders in urgently addressing and resolving client issues. Your strong organizational and communication skills will allow you to juggle competing priorities and manage multiple activities simultaneously. Supporting the development of operational decision support tools including executive dashboards and reports. You will be coordinating multiple business stakeholders at the VP level and/or subject matter experts across multiple functional areas to immediately resolve escalated issues that impact multiple clients. You will be managing stakeholders, Risk Mitigation, Issue Resolution, developing KPIs and Status Reporting to senior leaders as well as financial reports.Skills and Requirements
8+ years experience in project management with application development and software lifecycle experience
7+ years working with Lean- Agile methodologies in a large organization
5+ years experience managing a PMO enterprise organization
2+ years in a leadership role, coordinating across software cross-functional teams
Communicate IT costs and value to stakeholders, enabling informed decision making.
Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other scaling models
Advanced understanding of lean-agile principles/mindset and SAFe principles/core values, including Lean UX, User Centered Design, and Design Thinking
Any experience/technical knowledge with Apigee, Microservices, JavaScript, Java, Spring-boot, Github and/or Test Automation is a plus
Bachelor's degree is required - Client-facing/client relationship management experience is preferred
Healthcare industry experience
Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), SAFe Release Train engineer (RTE) certification, SAFe Scrum Master certification, or another scrum master or agile coaching certification null
