We are a 25 year old Construction Company that builds mostly Decks and Porches. We also have other projects, (renovating, new construction), that we are working on as well. We are pretty easy going with smart, efficient great hard working people.
We need to add to our team. We are looking for someone that has enough experience to learn our building process and be able to lead another carpenter helper to build some of our projects. We have crews in northern RI and Massachusetts so we are really looking for someone that will be able to work on and manage most of our RI jobs. Must be neat, clean, organized, able to lift 50 lbs. able to work independently, manage carpenter assistants, and have a positive attitude. Must also be able to communicate with all office staff, customers, and other employees.
Constructions skills: Must be a self-confident knowledgeable carpenter who has experience with framing, flashing, decking and siding. Ideally you will also have some experience with tractors, backhoes, excavation, grading and concrete.
Will train the right individual.
This position is year round at least 40 hours a week.
We offer Blue cross/blue shield after 60 day evaluation as well as some paid holiday and sick days. 401K, as well as yearly boot allowance of $200.00.
