Siena Restaurant seeks candidates with outgoing and upbeat personalities to greet and accommodate our restaurant dining guests in a warm and professional manner and to build service-oriented relationships with key customers. A host will ensures all reservations are properly taken and maintained within our OpenTable reservation software.
A host will seat guests and accommodate special requests, offer guests menus and transition service to our wait staff.
A host must communicate any necessary information to management and service team members. A host shall maintain a professional, courteous, and reassuring attitude and answers phones professionally. A host will communicate directly with our patrons. A host also maintains the host station according to company standards. A host must have exceptional grooming habits with a clean and neat personal appearance. This position requires excellent verbal and telephone skills with ability to communicate clearly and effectively, the ability to work and participate in a team environment, and the ability to multitask and work calmly and effectively under high volume, fast paced environment. Requires basic computer skills. No previous restaurant experience or training required, but any customer service experience is a plus.
