He/she will maintain the lab, look for panels when asked, close/finish job records, and stock/file retain samples (panels and powder). He/she will also assist technicians with sample preparation tasks such as hand screen samples, particle size analysis, color reading, and moisture analysis.Responsibilities
Clean all areas of the laboratory and production floor, including equipment.
Maintain the lab and retrieve panels when requested.
Close and finish job records.
Stock and file retain samples (panels and powder).
Assist technicians with sample preparation tasks.
Perform hand screen samples, particle size analysis, color reading, and moisture analysis.
Conduct quality checks, color matching, and visual inspections.
Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Essential Skills
Entry-level position.
Ability to communicate effectively orally in English.
Ability to work under stress and attach urgency to situations.
Computer literacy.
Good to above average math skills.
Good to above average color sensitivity.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must have good math skills, communication skills, and ability to write clearly.
Must be very detail-oriented and able to write out samples, reports, etc.
Experience in quality assurance, technician, inspector roles, inspection, analysis data, sample preparation, manufacturing process, quality control, visual inspection, testing processes, and laboratory settings.
