As a Fiscal Management Specialist 1, you will be responsible for complex professional analysis in the preparation, review, and analysis of fiscal information relating to the general accounting, General Fund reporting, and support of similar activities at other Regional Business Offices. You will prepare all budget and financial reports for inclusion into the monthly budget projections, perform quarterly contract reviews and year-end miscellaneous encumbrances, as well as other budget related activities for the General, Medical and Education funds. You will also complete Advancement Account, Accounts Payable, Purchasing Card (VISA), Comptroller and Direct Charge payments, as well as Accounts Receivable Processing.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday.

This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 60 or 65.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Waynesburg.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $49,839.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Financial Programs Trainee; or

One year of experience in paraprofessional fiscal administration work, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
