THE POSITION

The Department of Human Services, Warren State Hospital is seeking a Custodial Work Supervisor to support the hospital's goals of maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for consumers, staff, and visitors. If you enjoy working as part of a productive team to accomplish goals and tasks, this is the job for you!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Custodial Work Supervisor, you will provide supervision to employees through directing, inspecting, and overseeing work assignments to maintain a safe, clean, odor-free, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will plan, organize, and direct the work of employees by developing work schedules, goals, and prioritizing work projects. You will also conduct on-site inspections to review and evaluate work efforts to ensure the accomplishment of project goals and quality of services. In addition, you will train and direct employees in the use of equipment, cleaning procedures, infection control, and safety regulations.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs.

No weekends or holidays

Overtime and travel as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Custodial Worker 2 (commonwealth title); or

Two years of experience performing custodial work.Other Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.How to Apply:
