We are looking for a positive individual who strives to keep the park facilities in good working order for the safe, enjoyable recreation and relaxation of our park visitors. DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will provide semi-skilled maintenance and repair work in building, mechanical, and electrical trades at Little Pine, Hyner Run, Hyner View and Upper Pine Bottom State Parks. You will perform semi-skilled work alone or assist a skilled worker. This will include p erforming maintenance work on buildings and facilities by utilizing carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other building trade tools. Other duties involve the use of lawn care equipment and miscellaneous maintenance and gas-powered hand tools in many different tasks. These tasks frequently require the application of skills acquired on the job and vary on a daily basis. Another part of the job consists of custodial-type work such as cleaning bathrooms, cabins, and other buildings.Interested in learning more? Seasonal full-time employment without benefits.
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday - Sunday, with a 30-minute lunch. Scheduled days vary due to operational need.
Weekends, holidays and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
