Come join the DMVA team and apply today! DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of buildings, fixtures, machinery, and equipment. Work is performed in the electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and masonry trades. Some of your duties will include rough and finish carpentry; preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces; installing and repairing various fixtures including sinks, and faucets; installing and replacing electrical panels, circuits and fixtures; repairing air conditioning and heating equipment; mowing grass and removing snow; and repairing concrete and masonry. Your duties will require you to operate and maintain both manual and power tools of the trade on a regular basis. Interested in learning more? Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 ;or
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirement:
This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C Driver's License.
Additional Requirements:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Experience in commercial maintenance of buildings and equipment
Experience in commercial carpentry, electrical, plumbing
Experience with 3-phase wiring to include emergency generators, Automatic Transfer Switches, switch gears and 3-phase panels
Experience in the maintenance and repair of refrigeration and/or HVAC systems
Experience with domestic hot water mixing valves, recirculating loops, aqua stats and instantaneous water heaters
Experience with provisions of Life Safety Codes and Uniform Construction Code (UCC) as it relates to repairs of buildings
Structural experience in the maintenance or repair of buildings
Completion of formal training (high school vocational program, apprenticeship, or post-high school technical training program) in a skilled building, electrical, or mechanical trade
