The Health and Human Services (HHS) IT Delivery Center is seeking an Information Technology Generalist 1 to join our team. The Health and Human Services (HHS) IT Delivery Center provides end-to-end IT services to all staff in the Department of Human Services (DHS), the Department of Health (DOH), the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP), and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging (PDA). Share your knowledge and experience with our team of professionals in this vital role.DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis position will give you the opportunity to provide crucial on-site IT support for the Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse (OMHSAS), Danville State Hospital as well as providing on-site IT Support in the surrounding counties to DHS and DOH Offices.Responsibilities include the troubleshooting maintenance and support of Danville State Hospital's numerous IT systems. Candidate will provide desktop IT support, mobile device management, network support, asset management and pbx/telephony support. Full-time employment.

Work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, (candidate may decide schedule) Monday - Friday, lunch period will be based on selected work schedule (30 minute or 1 hour lunch).

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to two days per work week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you must report to the office at Danville State Hospital.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician;or

Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services;or

One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field;or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.
