The Bureau of Enforcement and Investigation is seeking a licensed pharmacist dedicated to upholding the standards of the profession. We are excited to welcome a Drug Program Specialist 1 to join the team and conduct detailed inspections to determine compliance with established laws, rules, and regulations. DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Drug Program Specialist 1, you will conduct physical inspections of pharmacies for possession and proper display of licensure documents, possession of required equipment, materials, devices, and reference books, adherence to established requirements for licensure, and adherence to the laws, rules, and regulations of the Commonwealth and the Pharmacy Board. You will provide limited investigative support activities such as obtaining evidentiary records, executing service of legal documents, and posing as a consumer in support of undercover investigations. The Program Specialist issues citations as necessary when violations are found, augments the investigative team as necessary on selected investigations, and testifies at formal and informal hearings and appears as a witness for the state in formal judicial proceedings. You will also have the opportunity to attend training sessions to maintain and expand professional knowledge and skills. Interested in learning more? Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
This position requires travel.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Special Requirements:
Possession of a license to practice pharmacy as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
Other Requirements:
This particular position also requires you to possess a valid driver’s license which is not under suspension.
