This is an exciting opportunity to perform various call center duties and provide clerical support to the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs, Board of Nursing, while ensuring operations remain efficient and effective. DESCRIPTION OF WORKWithin this Clerical Assistant 2 role, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls for the Board of Nursing call center and triaging calls to the appropriate area for follow-up. Excellent communication skills are essential in this position, as you must promptly utilize the appropriate method of contact to notify staff of inquiries received and makes note of such calls in the processing system. You will be interacting with the general public and may provide general information related to application submission, application status, and any information provided on the public websites. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

Parking is provided in a secure garage.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 50% of your scheduled work hours. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or

Graduation from high school; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.
