THE POSITIONTake the next step in your career in Transportation by seizing the opportunity to become the Clerical Assistant 3 at the Bureau of Driver Licensing. In this role, you will resolve issues with data sent to and received from the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators’ (AAMVA) Commercial Driver’s License Information System (CDLIS) associated with timeliness and data accuracy to ensure the Department maintains compliance with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this role, you will be responsible for reviewing both internal PennDOT CDLIS reports and external AAMVA CDLIS reports and workbooks to identify any problems or patterns. You will then record and keep track of these issues and patterns. Additionally, you will need to analyze the data in the internal PennDOT CDLIS reports and external AAMVA CDLIS reports and workbooks, and create a summary of your findings. You will also document and maintain a record of these findings. Lastly, you will be in charge of resolving any problems found in the internal PennDOT CDLIS reports and external AAMVA CDLIS reports and workbooks. This will involve taking appropriate action based on FMCSA regulations and AAMVA CDLIS State Procedures Manual. Interested in learning more? Temporary Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

This position requires authorized overtime as required.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title);or

One year of moderately complex clerical experience;or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
