Allegheny County Department of Human Services is seeking a hard-working, forward-thinking candidate to join the team as an Administrative Officer 2 and assist with managing the day-to-day operations at the Area Agency on Aging. DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an Administrative Officer 2, you will be responsible for directing, implementing, and coordinating all administrative services aspects of the Caregiver Support Program (CSP), which includes reviewing, analyzing, and developing program policies and procedures to promote efficiency and effectiveness. You will also oversee the CSP Care Management Program provider network and respond to any issues, complaints, or appeals surrounding the CSP. This position is involved in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the CSP Annual Budget which includes completing annual additional funding requests, preparing quarterly reports, and tracking monthly spending and reimbursements. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with the Area Agency on Aging Monitoring Program to monitor contract and Pennsylvania Department of Aging (PDA) regulatory compliance. You will review and analyze PDA Program Directives and interpret and communicate updates and changes to the Care Management providers.Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or

Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
