Data Technician - Full Time, On Payroll
IMMEDIATE START Monday - Thursday 7AM - 5PM
We install data wiring for security cameras, intercom systems, computers, monitors, printers, phones and more. We work in retail, industrial, and commercial sites.
This position: Technicians work independently or with other technicians to complete new installations, change out work, or service calls for customers in a retail or commercial environment. No residential work.
Technician Requirements:
Valid Driver’s license and safe driving record
Must be willing to travel. If hired for permanent work, you will be away from home from 1-2 days at a time most times, and sometimes up to 4 to 5 days at a time. There are also jobs where you will be working daytime hours and be home every evening. Must be flexible to accommodate these types of jobs.
Overnight work and travel is required for permanent hire
Must have a vehicle and reliable transportation to haul tools and a ladder
Must be able to be punctual and arrive to job sites on time.
Must be able to follow directions.
Must be able to lift and move heavy boxes, tools, equipment, etc.
Must have basic handyman skills.
MUST be able to pass a Drug Prescreen and Background Check.
Starting pay is $20 - $22/hour based on experience. There are opportunities for raises when proven to be dependable, efficient, and thorough. Overnight work pays an additional $5 hour.
