Seeking Kitchen chef and/or Manger for a Full service Casual Dining restaurant in the Milford/Matamoras/PA,NY,NJ area
Seeking person for casual dining but with ability to bring a bit of flair and creativity to the table.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the restaurants day-to-day operations
Coordinate food orders
Check freshness and quality of ingredients.
Inventory and quality control.
Coordinate meal prep.
Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
Follow standard recipes and special diet orders
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
Assist in the development of menu items.
Standardize recipes and plate presentations
Qualifications:
At least 4 years previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
Knowledge of cost and labor systems
Experience in full service dining required.
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
Strong attention to detail
Passion for food and cooking techniques
Strong leadership qualities, must be able and willing to work on the line when needed along side co-workers to ensure proper service during the busy times if and when needed.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment MUST be energetic and mentally and physically fit.
Seeking people that can come up with daily Lunch & Dinner specials.
A person that has worked in a full service corporate restaurant and preferably also in the Front of the House supervisor position to have knowledge of proper customer service and how both F.O.H AND B.O.H need to work together is ideal.
Must be with in 40 minutes of Milford and Matamoras, please Map Quest Walmart Westfall PA to give yourself APPROXIMATE driving times to ensure your able to realistically commute to us.( no that is not the job location just a LANDMARK location)
