Wholesale Distribution Customer Service / Accounting Assistant – FULL-TIME / PART TIME

Fast-paced North Side screen print supply wholesale distribution company is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic full-time / part-time Customer Service / Accounting Assistant for immediate hire. This position will be expected to learn and handle a wide variety of responsibilities. The primary responsibility is to provide customer service to answer incoming phone calls, process customer sales orders placed via phone and through our website, complete daily customer invoices, and research / resolve a multitude of varied customer/vendor inquiries.

Secondary accounting responsibilities include various AP/AR activities processed through QuickBooks Enterprise - Manufacturing and Wholesale. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire and innate ability to learn our company's processes and flow-of work in order to grow with the company.

Customer Service Functions:

- Answering phones and taking customer orders or routing calls appropriately

- Retrieving Shopify web orders and processing them to internal Sales Orders

- Process and track Return / Exchange Authorizations and Net 30 applications for timely completion

- Process outgoing shipping via UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager, and LTL freight shipping

- Process claims for UPS & FedEx damaged / lost boxes

- Research and resolve customer issues

Accounting Functions:

- Daily processing of customer invoices and payments

- Process AR, AP along with PO, SO, daily Invoicing, and Bill transactions utilizing QuickBooks

- Track and reconcile PO's and vendor Bills in QuickBooks

- Research and resolve vendor issues

Requirements:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office products

- Knowledge of QuickBooks helpful, but will train

- Prefer minimum 2 years experience in an office setting

- Able to learn new processes and software quickly

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Pleasant and professional phone demeanor

- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills

FULL TIME POSITION

We offer free parking and a great casual work environment. Health, vision and dental insurance offered after 90-day probation period. Paid holidays and vacation. Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 5:30, in person.

PART TIME POSITION

We offer free parking and a great casual work environment. Hours: Monday - Friday, Noon - 5:00, in person.
