What You Will Do:

Receive assignments to address resident and owner service requests and perform routine property upkeep.

Diagnose and repair a wide variety of residential defects, following guidelines and safety protocols.

Prepare vacant units for new residents, completing necessary maintenance tasks.

Manage inventory and responsibly use materials, tools, and equipment.

Adhere to safety policies, attend daily maintenance briefings, and accurately document work performed.

Provide quality customer service by communicating professionally with tenants and team members.

Serve as the eyes and ears on site for property managers and owners.

Evaluating repair and replacement options for temporary and/or long-term resolution.

Provide recommendations for solutions to property managers and execute those proposed plans once approved.

Where You Will Work:

Technicians work indoors and outdoors, and in all property areas.

Physical agility is needed: bending, climbing, lifting, crawling in confined spaces.

Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Properties are scattered around Pittsburgh and will require transportation to multiple job sites in the same day.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Valid Driver's License

Previous experience in maintenance or related fields preferred, but not required.

Basic understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices.

Ability to effectively communicate with residents, colleagues, and management.

Customer Service skills to interact with residents and neighbors.
