St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is a vibrant and active congregation in Pittsburgh’s South Hills.
We are looking for a Week Night Custodian to open building, clean Nursery School classrooms, set-up for events, lock building and help meet building needs.
Responsibilities include:
Clean all rooms and hallways on the nursery school floor (sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe down sinks, counters, toilets, desks, and chairs, remove garbage). Set-up for special events, lock the building and help meet building needs. Prepare coffee carts, and wash dishes at the end of the evening. In winter, remove snow from sidewalks and stairs and salt outside areas. Assist the staff, parishioners, and visitors with any building maintenance problems. Notify the appropriate individuals of any emergencies or building problems. Be personable, approachable, and helpful to all parishioners, staff, visitors, and contractors.
Supervisor: Head Sexton (Head Custodian)
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Compensation: $16.50 per hour
Full background check required and will be conducted by the church.
