UPMC Health Plan is looking for a Marketing Strategist to join the Workpartners Marketing team!The Marketing Strategist is responsible for the development and prioritization of the strategies for an insurance product, product portfolio or defined audience (i.e., Providers, Brokers). Reporting to a Marketing Strategist Lead, Manager, Marketing, Sr. Manager, Marketing or Director, Marketing, this individual is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and marketing activities for their assigned business unit(s), product(s) or audience(s) and supporting revenue and sales growth. The Marketing Strategist must be able to multi-task, work well with internal clients, be able to interpret business unit needs into customer language, and be familiar with the four Ps of marketing (price, product, promotion, place).Responsibilities:

Provides strategic direction to supporting marketing and campaign teams in order to develop/refine marketing ideas, concepts, and tests.

Works closely with leadership to set strategic goals/objectives, defines processes for market strategies, and establishes measurement standards.

Utilizes market intelligence to understand market segmentation and competitive analysis to develop strategies and measure results.

Consults with product & consumer innovation department to drive strategy and execution around product branding, messaging, traditional and online marketing activities, and measurement.

Monitor performance of market strategy and implementation and make appropriate recommendations to further support sales goals and strategies.

Formulate, direct, and coordinate marketing activities to promote products, new technology advances, and other related services.

Identify, develop and evaluate market strategy that supports business unit sales objectives, addresses market trends, and enhances client and member experiences.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, business or related field.

Minimum 5 years of marketing, marketing communications or public relations experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Solid understanding of the four principles of marketing (price, product, promotion, and placement).

Knowledge of healthcare market.

Results oriented: demonstrated success in overcoming obstacles and launching campaigns on time and on budget.

Able to build consensus among various internal and works well as team member.

Self-starter; able to work independently with minimal direction.

Online/social/digital marketing knowledge.
