Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:The Marketing Planning Specialist is responsible for coordinating the planning, execution and reporting of Omni-channel marketing programs. Tactics include, but not limited to, in-store, promotions, coupons, events, organic and paid digital, loyalty program, and fundraisers.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Aid in campaign planning and brief development

Manage coordination of information, prioritization and detailed messaging in partnership with all relevant business partners to write creative briefs

Work closely with marketing channel teams to capture plan details

Develop and adhere to timelines in partnership with Marketing Operations

Review projects as part of the approval process to ensure brief alignment and creative excellence

Retrieve and manage data for post mortem reports

Collaborate with team on analysis of insights and learnings and apply to future programming

Coordinate agendas, meetings, calendars and post mortem documentation

Assist in improving the Marketing Planning process by identifying opportunities to save time and money

Help to identify best practices for the department and effectively collaborate and share with peers

Support Marketing Planning Manager with projects as needed

Additional duties as assigned

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required

2+ years progressive Marketing experience preferred

High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications

Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)

Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts

Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients

Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

Ability to understand how work affects other roles in the organization and committed to finding ways to improve.

Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.

Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
