SUMMARY:

Join Pohlig Homes as an Assistant Superintendent and become an integral part of our on-site construction team. Working closely with our Superintendent, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth progression of our projects, maintaining our high standards of craftsmanship, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere on-site. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support the Superintendent in organizing and managing the worksite, coordinating material deliveries, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency.

- Assist in adhering to and managing project schedules, facilitating seamless progress for both in-house staff and trade partners.

- Ensure the job is ready for each trade prior to their arrival for an optimal working environment that enables that trade to complete their work.

- Review trade checklist with each trade at the start of their work and conduct ongoing inspections to ensure checklists are completed and executed to our standards.

- Collaborate closely with team members and trade partners, promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere on-site.

- Embrace the challenges and rewards of hands-on construction work, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication to excellence.

- Utilize your expertise in plan reading and technical application to ensure accurate implementation of architectural plans and drawings.

- Learn and apply our established procedures and construction details to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and efficiency.

- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized worksite, overseeing material management and deliveries.

- Embrace challenges with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or equivalent; and a minimum of 5 years of construction-related education or experience.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Comfortable working in a hands-on, physically demanding role in various weather conditions.

- Extensive experience with hand and power tools, including proficiency in their proper use and maintenance.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
