Position Title: Outreach & Data Coordinator Part-Time 20 hrs. per week

Dept: Neighborhood Advisory Committee

Reports To: Majeedah Rashid, Executive Director

Job Description Summary:

The following describes the duties and responsibilities of the position:

 Familiar with cultures and residents in the neighborhoods in the NTCDC/NAC service area.

 Must also have ability to work in and out of office with distractions and a pace that often fluctuates.

 Works with NAC Coordinators and volunteers to prepare NTCDC & DHCD resources and information materials for distribution throughout the service area.

 Ability to engage, organize and follow up with community stakeholders and partners on a regular basis.

 Must have ability to utilize social media, email, text and telephone outreach to optimize engagement.

 Ability to schedule/manage virtual meetings for staff, community meetings, trainings, etc.

 Connects with residents, drop sites, block captains, faith, and community organizations, etc. to ensure regular exchange of resource information. (Directly; via social media, telephone, email)

 Tracks, documents, and reports delivery/exchange of outreach materials, (flyers, newsletter, brochures, notifications, surveys, etc.) via canvassing, social media, email, and text blasts, etc. Reports will be submitted to Executive Director and DHCD on a weekly/monthly basis.

 Collects and reports data regarding neighborhood conditions, business information, vacant lots, demolished buildings, short dumping, etc. Also conducts surveys and reports via 311. Assists with managing, input, and generation of reports from program data into Apricot system.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Must have computer and database management proficiency with Microsoft Office.

 Must work independently as well as a team player with co-workers, staff, and volunteers.

 Ability to work productively in office setting, with frequently fluctuating pace.

 Maintain current knowledge of NAC & DHCD information in a clear, engaging manner.

 Must have excellent organizational skills, with both hard copy and electronic files.

 Ability to prioritize and organize job tasks to ensure timely completion.

 Must maintain a flexible schedule, for community meetings and other special activities.

 Must maintain updated background clearances, including child abuse, FBI, and criminal.

 Experience and/or ability to utilize effective conflict resolution methodologies.

A. Education & Experience: Minimum high school diploma, Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Previous nonprofit or social services experience.

B. Other Requirements:  Proficiency with social media and tools for capturing data/exchanging information.

 Must have insured vehicle, valid PA driver’s license, safe driving record.

 Must obtain current background clearances.

 Must be drug free.
