We’re looking for a Maintenance Mechanic Tech to work for our client who is a global independent beverage solutions provider for retailers and Global, National, and Emerging (GNE) brands in Europe, North America, and Australia.

About the Role:

Pay Rate: Earn up to $31.70/hr.

Available Shift Times:

The first shift is 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Overall Purpose:

Ensure that all equipment is maintained in operational readiness and can perform at maximum efficiency. Responsible for implementation and execution of the preventive maintenance program, and work order completion, and engages in electronics, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical maintenance work; performs work requiring necessary skills and ability to prevent or correct improper operation of equipment with minimum supervision and direction.

Specific Accountability:

The I.M.M – A class must specialize in electronic and electrical maintenance work yet maintain a working knowledge of all other types of maintenance work as the mechanic will be expected to perform in the areas.

Follows established work procedures and written/verbal maintenance instructions.

Advocate and execute preventative maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and lubrication when required.

Inspects and maintains equipment and machinery throughout the plant (i.e. Palletizers, packers, fillers, cappers, conveyors, de-palletizers, labelers, warmers, and ancillary equipment)

Responsible for the completion of work request forms, PM’s and work orders sheets, and parts ordering; ensuring that the maintenance administration clerk is informed of stock levels and parts required.

Know how to read production schedules and work as a team to prepare for all changeovers or product changes online.

Must know how to operate a forklift and the company pick-up when needed.

Read and understand blueprints of buildings and drawings related to structural and equipment.

Must be able to work Monday through Friday and weekends when required as well as flex schedules if required.

Repairs, maintains and installs electrical systems and equipment, such as copper heads, filler valves, mothers, transformers, frequency drives, motorized valves, wiring, conduit installation, and control/lighting/main distribution panels.

Responsible for Food Safety, Food Quality, and notifying a person with the authority to act in the event of a Food Safety or Food Quality issue.

Requirements and Qualifications:

2 years of vocational, trade, or military school, must have HS Degree or GED.

Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.

3 to 5 years of working experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid Driver’s License

Left up to 75lbs.

Working knowledge and understanding of a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, electronics, instrumentation, and testing.

Performs all duties of class B and C mechanics.

Skill & Knowledge:

Read, Analyze, and interpret blueprints, diagrams, professional journals, and technical procedures.

Team Building Skills

Mathematical skills, apply advanced mathematical concepts, exponents, logarithms, quadratic equipment, frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

Reasoning Ability, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Physical demands, required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, controls, reach, reach, hear, have good vision, smell, climb, and balance.

Work Environment– While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed tocool,damp (32 degrees and below)temperatures, airborne particles, chemicals, and moving machinery. The noise level in the work environment can be very loud.
