Description
This position requires extensive knowledge and the ability to plan and schedule maintenance activities. In-depth understanding of CMMS Systems. Maximizes the efficiency of maintenance work by ensuring work orders have been thoroughly analyzed to determine the exact scope of the job. Assists the plant in providing the necessary maintenance resources and record keeping that is required to increase plant productivity. Assist in maintenance work preparations to improve work efficiencies and increase plant performance by developing a schedule to balance work and site priorities. Ensure the schedule meets production priorities. Responsible for maintaining production equipment availability and performance at satisfactory levels through the planning, scheduling, coordinating, and reporting of repair activities. Develop and document job plans for repair, improvement, and PM work. Ensures necessary resources have been identified and are staged for job execution before scheduling, starting work, and ready to be executed right the first time.
Essential Duties and Functions
Prioritize incoming and backlog work.
Review Daily P.W and make changes as needed.
Track service to sales and on-time delivery.
Develop and maintain the PM job plan library.
Coordinate the storeroom, and material requirements.
Facilitate appropriate scheduling meetings.
Develop Schedules
Develop Shutdown Plans
Track Work Planning KPIs
Other items as assigned.
Education and Experience
High School Degree or equivalent
Technical certificate
Candidate should possess the working knowledge of:
Microsoft software and Internet searching
Working knowledge of a purchase order process
Candidate must have the following experience:
Maintenance Craft in a Dairy
Must have utilized a CMMS system for workorder planning.
Must have parts inventory and storeroom location management.
Must have experience in creating or updating PMs and Corrective Maintenance workorder job scope.
Must have experience in sourcing parts and services to complete required work.
Physical Demands: Requires walking, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, reaching for extended periods.
