About Us: We are a well-established law firm in Center City specializing in serious and complex personal injury claims. Our firm is committed to providing clients with exceptional legal services. We are currently seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant.

Job Description: As a Legal Assistant, you will be an integral part of our legal team, assisting attorneys in the day-to-day management of personal injury cases. You will be responsible for administrative tasks, client communication, and ensuring the smooth operation of case files.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.

Draft and proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with court rules.

Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.

Obtain medical records, Medicare/Medicaid and other liens at attorney’s request.

Assist attorneys with legal research, scheduling, and client communications.

Manage and coordinate appointments, court hearings, and deadlines.

Communicate with clients, medical providers, and other professionals

Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial binders

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Legal Assistant in the personal injury field.

Strong knowledge of personal injury law and court procedures, including filing systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Experience with Medicare/Medicaid portal preferred but not required.
