Bredenbeck's Bakery & Ice Cream Parlor is looking to add a bakery store manager to their team.
The bakery store manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of an exceptional customer experience at the Bredenbeck’s Bakery storefront. They must be able to maintain a balanced view of both front and back of house operations. By fostering a positive and productive work environment, the bakery store manager will play an integral role in motivating staff and ensuring the profitability of the bakery storefront.
The bakery store manager will be the principal point of contact between the storefront and Studio B and will be required to keep an open line of communication with the production manager, general manager and owners regarding storefront operations. The bakery store manager will oversee inventory management to ensure the storefront is always stocked with the necessary supplies and product.
The Bakery Store Manager will be responsible for disseminating vital information (i.e. price changes, 86 list, holiday protocol) to bakery sales associates, as needed, as well as ensuring the implementation and integration of any knew policies regarding storefront operations.
The bakery store manager’s example is ‘the’ example. Accordingly, the bakery store manager must demonstrate a positive personality and ‘can-do’ attitude, in addition to possessing an exceptional work ethic and exemplary communication and time management skills.
Core Job Responsibilities
Communicate with principal contacts at Studio B as necessary.
Delegate key responsibilities to storefront employees during shift.
Complete weekly inventories of the following: paper/plastic goods, cookies, macarons, pretzels, cards and candles
Order the following as needed: macarons, pretzels, cards and candles.
Maintain cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of storefront.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of back of house.
Serve as the designated lead on basic customer complaints.
