Job Overview
As aShift Managerat Nifty Fifty’s, you’ll be responsible for leading the restaurant during your scheduled shifts, ensuring everything runs smoothly from open to close. This includes managing daily operations, assisting with food preparation, monitoring service and quality standards, and addressing any guest concerns with professionalism and care. You’ll also help maintain schedules, support inventory tracking, and keep the team motivated and focused. Your leadership and commitment to customer service will help deliver an exceptional dining experience—making every guest feel like part of the Nifty Fifty’s family.

Responsibilities and Duties
Lead the shift with confidence, positivity, and accountability
Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve customer concerns efficiently and professionally
Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation to meet Nifty Fifty’s standards
Support and participate in food prep and line operations when needed
Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly inventories and ensure accurate recordkeeping
Balance cash drawers and handle shift financials
Communicate updates on menu items, recipes, and procedures to the team
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment
Conduct and lead pre-shift meetings to align and energize the team
Monitor labor and food costs to support operational goals
Promote a positive team culture and strong employee relations
Set performance goals to improve guest satisfaction, productivity, and staff morale
Assist upper management with additional tasks or projects as needed
Spanish-speaking ability is welcomed and can enhance team interactions.

Qualifications & Requirements
ServSafe Certificationrequired — or willingness to obtain upon hire
Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality
Solid math and problem-solving skills
